Case File

A launch told as an investigation: typed case notes, redaction bars, red string on a corkboard and a stamp that closes the case.

16:9Medium pace8ssuspensefulwrytactile

Detective-dossier style for product launches and problem/solution stories. Grey-green paper with grain and vignette, typewriter case notes whose key facts get wiped out by black redaction bars, index-card tickets pinned to a dark corkboard and joined by red string that draws on, one huge serif number, a rubber stamp with ink texture that slams onto the file, then a clean resolved product card. Captions type out in a small dark bar at the bottom.

Five beats: the file, the board, the number, the stamp, the fix. One typed caption per beat; let the stamp land just after the caption starts.

Transitions and text

  • hard cuts between file, corkboard, evidence number, stamped file and product card
  • slow 2–6% push on every evidence shot
  • stamp impact shakes the sheet for 0.2s
  • captions type out character by character (≈0.025s per char) in a dark bar
  • black redaction bars wipe left→right over key facts, 0.24s each, 0.17s apart
  • evidence number counts 0→N with power2.out while scaling down from 1.12
  • stamp drops from scale 2.4 at -9° with power4.in in 0.2s

Style guide your agent follows

  1. Ground is grey-green paper (#c4c7b0 → #8f937c radial) with a multiply feTurbulence grain; evidence boards are dark cork #2a2820. No pure white until the final product card (#fbfbf7).
  2. Case notes are Courier Prime 40px on a #e2e0cd sheet with a tracked uppercase header and rule. Redact key facts with #121310 bars that wipe scaleX 0→1 (power3.inOut, 0.24s, 0.17s stagger) after the line is readable.
  3. Corkboard: 4–6 index cards (#e6e3d2, slight -4° to 3° rotations, heavy drop shadow) drop in with back.out(1.6); glossy red pins pop, then #c2241f 3px strings with a slight sag draw from the hero card to each pin.
  4. One huge Playfair Display 900 number per piece (≈500px) counting up, circled by a hand-drawn red loop.
  5. Stamp: Inter 900 uppercase inside a 12px rounded border, green #2f7d4a (or red for 'unsolved'), rotated about -9°, with an feTurbulence alpha mask plus displacement for ink texture. Slam from scale 2.4 with power4.in in 0.2s and shake the sheet.
  6. Every beat gets one typed Courier Prime 700 caption (32px) in a #17180f bar centred at y≈950. End on a clean resolved product card plus wordmark; never show a mascot or real brand.
